Born in the sun-drenched hills of Sicily, Gabriele Franco grew up with food not as career, but as inheritance — the way his nonna shaped pasta by feel, the way his father argued passionately about the right olive oil.
After years perfecting his craft on MSC cruise ships and in the fine dining rooms of Sydney, Chef Gabriele founded La Botte D'Oro in Leichhardt — a restaurant that feels like a corner of Sicily transplanted to the Inner West.
